Web Technologies Overview
Recommended Operating Systems: Supported configurations apply to any OS/browser combination officially supported by the vendor.
About Cookies: Online Banking uses temporary session cookies (deleted upon logging off or closing your browser) to ensure pages are not cached on your system. Permanent secure cookies are used solely to register private devices for MFA—no personal private data is stored in cookies.
About JavaScript: JavaScript enables interactive features like form validation (e.g., verifying phone number formats before submission). If disabled, key Online Banking features will not function.
About SSL (Secure Sockets Layer): Encrypts all data between our server and your browser. A secure session is indicated by https:// in your address bar.
About Display Size: Optimized for screen resolutions of 1024 x 768 or higher to eliminate horizontal scrolling.
About Adobe Acrobat Reader: Used to view PDF documents like Online Statements and Check Images. Download the free reader at https://get.adobe.com/reader/.
Having Trouble Logging In With Login Security (Multifactor Authentication - MFA)?
Online Banking uses sophisticated security architecture—including screening routers, filtering routers, and firewalls—to protect your internal network data. To enhance identity protection, we utilize Multifactor Authentication (MFA) via Enhanced Login Security.
Authentication ensures only the authorized user gains access by requiring two or more independent factors:
Something You Know: Your User ID and Password.
Something You Have: A One-Time Passcode (OTP) sent to your registered phone, or a special Browser Cookie on an enrolled computer.
Logging in from a Computer You Normally Use (PRIVATE): When you enroll your private computer, a secure browser cookie is stored to identify you. You will only need your User ID and Password for future logins. If you are continually prompted for an OTP on a private computer, verify the following:
You are using a recommended Operating System and Browser.
Your browser and antivirus software are not set to delete cookies automatically.
No viruses, spyware, or proxy servers/web accelerators are active on your device.
Your employer's technical department is not running automated cookie deletion.
Logging in from a Computer You DO NOT Normally Use (PUBLIC): Select PUBLIC when accessing accounts from a library, school, or shared device. You will be prompted to enter a One-Time Passcode (OTP) every time you log in.
Password Security Rules:
Never reveal your password. Passwords are case-sensitive and benefit from special characters.
Change your password every six months under My Settings.
Always click the Sign Off icon to terminate your session securely. Do not rely solely on closing the browser or pressing the "Back" button.
Recommended Browsers & Determining Your Version
For optimal performance, security, and layout alignment, always use the latest version of a recommended browser:
Google Chrome: Download Google Chrome
Microsoft® Edge: Download Microsoft Edge
Mozilla Firefox: Download Mozilla Firefox
Apple Safari: Download Apple Safari Support
How to Check Your Browser Version:
Google Chrome: Type chrome://version in the address bar and press Enter.
Microsoft Edge: Type edge://version in the address bar and press Enter.
Mozilla Firefox: Click Help from the top menu bar > About Firefox.
Safari: Click Safari from the top menu bar > About Safari.
Enabling JavaScript & Configuring Pop-up Blockers
Enabling JavaScript
If you receive an "Internet Account Access Session Error" or password prompt loop, verify JavaScript is enabled:
Google Chrome: Settings > Security and Privacy > Site settings > JavaScript > Select Sites can use JavaScript.
Microsoft Edge: Settings > Search for "JavaScript" > Toggle switch to On (dark blue).
Mozilla Firefox: Type about:config in the address bar > Click Accept the Risk and Continue > Search for javascript.enabled > Toggle value to true > Restart browser.
Safari: Safari > Preferences > Security tab > Check Enable JavaScript.
Allowing Pop-ups for Online Banking
Certain services (such as loan applications, check images, and external transfers) open in secure pop-up windows.
Google Chrome:
Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings > Pop-ups and redirects.
To allow pop-ups for our site specifically, click the Pop-up blocked icon in your address bar when visiting, and select Always allow pop-ups and redirects from [site].
Microsoft Edge:
Go to Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions > Pop-ups and redirects.
Toggle to On. Under Allow, click Add and enter our banking URL (e.g., https://myFI.com/dbank/live/app/login/consumer).
Relaunch Edge.
Mozilla Firefox:
Go to Preferences > Privacy & Security > Permissions.
Click Exceptions... next to Block pop-up windows.
Paste our Online Banking URL, click Save Changes.
Safari:
Open Safari > Settings > Websites > Pop-up Windows.
Locate our website in the list and change the setting to Allow.
Note: Third-party toolbars or security software (such as Google Toolbar or Norton Internet Security) may also block pop-ups and require individual configuration.
Software Downloads, Compatibility Tests & Error Reporting
Downloading Files to Financial Software (Quicken/Intuit)
For assistance importing account data into Quicken or managing file exports, visit the Intuit Support Portal at http://www.intuit.com/support/.
Compatibility Testing & Third-Party Software
Compatibility Test: Run the browser test link available on the main login page. If it fails, turn off pop-up blockers, enable JavaScript, and ensure no non-standard browser plugins are active.
Adware/Spyware & Toolbars: Third-party toolbars, adware, or spyware can interfere with security handshakes and block login access. Scan and clean your system using standard security tools to ensure privacy and full functionality.
Error Messages & How to Report Them
If you experience persistent error messages (e.g., "Internet Account Access Session Error"):
Close all browser windows.
Clear your browser cache/history and retry.
If the error continues, capture a screenshot by pressing ALT + Print Screen on Windows (or Cmd + Shift + 4 on Mac), paste it into a document, and email or share it with Customer Service.
