Understanding the Details Behind Your Home's Value
How does a Home Equity Line of Credit work in the real world?
Imagine you are approved for a $10,000 HELOC, but you only need to use $2,000 to cover a quick home repair. With a HELOC, your monthly payment is calculated strictly based on the portion of the $2,000 you've used—not the entire $10,000 credit limit!

Property Type: Secured by a first or second mortgage lien on your primary residence. Your home must be a single-family dwelling. Mobile homes are fully acceptable if they are situated on a permanent foundation. Please note: Condominiums and duplexes do not qualify.
Insurance & Rules: Flood and/or property hazard insurance may be required depending on your location. Other standard restrictions may apply.
Official Disclosures and Variable Rate Terms
Review our detailed structural guidelines and legal disclosures to see how market rates affect your line of credit.
*APR: The HELOC Prime Rate Annual Percentage Yield (APR) is variable and fluctuates with the market based on the Wall Street Journal Prime Rate. However, it will never go below our historical floor rate of 3.50%. Following any change to the Prime Rate, your new rate will be applied at the start of your next monthly billing cycle.
Stipulations: Rates vary based on creditworthiness, underwriting, and credit eligibility. Programs, rates, terms, and conditions are subject to change without notice. Closing costs vary by state and may be as low as $400.
