What You Need to Open Your Account
Gather these items before starting your 5-minute online application
1. Social Security Number: Required for all primary owners.
A valid U.S. Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
2. Government-Issued Photo ID: Must be current and unexpired.
Driver's License, State ID, Military ID, or Passport.
3. Address History: If less than 2 years.
Your previous physical home address if you have lived at your current address for less than 24 months.
4. Opening Deposit Funding Source: Debit, Credit, ACH.
A credit card, debit card, or routing/account number for an existing U.S. Checking or Savings Account to fund your new share deposit (minimum $5 Par Value share).

Important Federal Identity Verification Requirements
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person or business entity opening an account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, Marine FCU will ask for your legal name, physical street address, date of birth, and government-issued identifying documents. Marine FCU reserves the right to refuse membership if we cannot verify the true identity of a person or entity.
